Have you ever wondered

why the aeroplane often flies above the clouds?

Many would have guessed

that it is because

it wouldn't have to deal with the weather

under the cloud

which would risk the danger of the flight.

You are right.

In our daily life ,

how often do we do that

go above it all

to get to where we want ?

Sometimes we have to fly

above our daily problems

so that

we won't get hit hard by it.

The solution will come to you more easily

when your head is clear

and you are not under the weather

which can be unpredictable at times.

So,

next time if you think you are under heavy storm

try to go above the cloud

and you will see that

it is not wet up there.

We all have Genie in all of us ,

believe it or not?

The problem is that

we hardly rub the lamp

and make use of it.

I did try and ask for something 

recently

and I got it!!!

Just ask what you really want 

from the people that you think can give it to you 

and you will be surprised 

how easy it is to get it 

if you only ASK.

Sometimes,

just as simple as

asking for the discount from the unlikely shop,

and they will actually give it only if you ask for one.

So next time

if you think you are at dead ends,

just ask for the way out

and you will be amazed with the guiding light.

Idea

The world has come to the world of information era.

We all compete in terms of information,

who has the most information

or know-how will gain an upper edge over the others.

Also, the world of ideas , innovations

are common nowadays.

All the newly successful business 

has come up with new ideas 

be it , facebook , apple ,etc.

Surprisingly,

everyone has at least one good idea every day .

But not many of us turn it into reality 

or put it into use.

Those who did and succeeded

have gone far and become successful in life.

So why should we miss this bandwagons?

Next time you have a good idea ,

put it down and try to implement it 

or at least tell others to help you to make it big.

You never know ,

one day 

your silly dream can turn into a good fortune

or at least make the world a better place!!!

We often think that

being sophisticated

talking with complicated words and ideas

will make us look good.

Sometimes

that is not the case.

What is the point of communication

if you convey some meaning

that the listener will not understand

it shows a failed communication , doesn't it??

Not just communication,

now everything seems to go back to basic

to the nature once again.

No more a lot of accessories

or too many unnecessary things in life.

Even the make-up on many women

it seems to be less than ever!!!

So why don't we keep things simple?

Past , present and future

We all have the past

whether good or bad.

Some we choose to remember ,

 some we choose to forget.

But whatever we do,

one thing that we can't do is

to fix it.

No one can go back in time and right the wrong things we did.

So all we have to do is

live with it

and move on.

There is no point wondering

what would happen if we hadn't done such things

or

hoping that things would turn better.

All we can do is

to live with the present

learn from those mistakes

and walk into the future.

It would be a waste of time

thinking about the past

or even argue about what could have been done

to make the situation better.

We can't do anything now ,

all we can do

all we can fix

is today.

That will be the outcome of the future.

So

are you still huanted by the past ???

Another favourite movie of mine during that time ,

a story about an architect

frustrated with everything in his life

and wished there should be a remote controller

to fast forward his life

and skip the boring time

like driving , showwering , arguing with his wife , etc.

His wish came true ,

he got the remote controller he wanted .

Fast forwarding and skipping all the boring times,

but everything always has bad point :

the remote controller gets fast forward by itself

and he skips the whole years of his life time

including his boring times,

 At the same time

he also missed his life,

as his life was in auto pilot mode while fast forwarding

so it seemed that he didn't care about anyone around him.

He didn't live his life

even though he had become very old.

The end revealed it all ,

that he finally knows that

family and life is more important

than anything

than work and even success!!!

A good movie to watch ,

and ask yourself once again that

" Are you fast forwarding your life ?? "

Investment

When we talk about investment,

we often think about money term

stock , bond , fixed account , gold , etc.

Some may think outside the box

and go into education

or buy good books to read

to increase the knowledge of oneself

thus to increase their value as a person.

Another good example of investing in yourself

would be to your appearance

or even to your lifestyle.

It is okay to spend some hard earned money

on the things that you will be needing to use it often

like clothes , accessories or furniture in your house

even on your bed!!!

We spend half a day in your bed anyway

so why don't we pay more attention to it

once a person told me to consider

about this matter.

So,

everything is investment

if we think about it,

then

invest well

not only money

 but in your life.

Elevator

Life is somewhat like an elevator.

It goes up and down ,

stop at times ,

broken a few time during its lifetime.

But

what it is very similar to life

is that

you have to press the direction you want  

and the desired floor that you would like to go .

What happens when you get into the elevator

and

forget to press the floor you want to go

The elevator wouldn't move , right ?

Or it would move when others call for it

which sometimes is not the floor you want to go to .

Similar to life,

if you don't choose or have plan of where you want to go

you are likely to be pushed to where others want you to be

and sometimes not to your preference.

After all , it is your life,

why not choose your own path

to your own liking

and you will get to where you want to be

But that is the hardest part, isn't it? 

Sometimes we don't know

where we really want to go.

That would be our homework to find it 

before reaching the ultimate goal 

or else 

we are going nowhere!!!

Books

Thailand has a bad record of reading

On average, one person only reads 7 lines a year!!!!

This means that

there are so many people in the country

that cannot read or just cant bother reading anything

On the contrary

there are more books in the bookstore each month

and sales seem to be increasing all the time

showing that

those who read will have a bigger edge

to those who dont read at all

All successful people

scholars

scientists

are readers!!!

Personally

i think reading helps broaden ur mind

open ur eyes to a new perspective in life

Reading is good

not only the new knowledge

but also

the more u read

the faster u will be at reading

and also

ur thinking will be faster

so

why dont go to the bookstore

grab a new book

and open a new world

for urself !!!

Karate Kid (2010)

Another memorable from 2010

Karate Kid

A simple story

of a new American boy in China

got beaten up by the local boys

and he chose to study Kung Fu

with a repairman

and learnt to master it

and became a master of it ,

at least to make a name from himself

and

no longer scared of the bullies in the end.

A good quote from the story would be

 Life will knock us down,

but we can choose whether or not to stand back up.

That surely teaches us something

but what is memorable about the story would be

the way

his kung fu master tells him

to do the same thing over and over

in which he sees no points of doing

like

 taking the jacket off and putting it on and taking it off again

But once he master the small thning

he can use it and becomes his kung fu style

There is surely no easy way in life

but to practice and practice

the basic stuff

until we master it

there is no shortcut

If we want to be good at something

there is no other way but to practise

the simple basic technique

before learning the more sophisticated one

So have u tried hard enough

to get to where u want to go

or do u just sit there and complaining

about the hard practice

and doesnt seem to reach ur goal at all

!!! 

Most Valuable

What is the most valuable asset on our hand??

Not a fancy car , glamorous handbags , luxurious condo

But it is

what everyone has equally,

Time !!!

Everyone 's got 24 hours equaly

no matter who they are

rich or poor , young or old , men or women

We all have the same share

But what makes the difference

between each of us

is the time management we implement.

Those who are busy

seem to have less time on their hands

but

they have a better skill on managing the scarce resource , time

Meanwhile

Those who seem to have plenty of time on their hand

often

complain that they are bored

with nothing to do

but they dont seem to get anything done

that is a mystery indeed.

We seem to be in both situations before

busy and bored with free time

That is the past  

Ask urself

what about now??

Have u used 24 hours wisely

It doesnt need to be as efficient

so that

u dont get to relax or have fun at all

the resting time is also a valuable time

Just make it a well managed one

and u will see that

u have more time in ur hand .

A: Is that rock heavy?

B: If u dont carry it , i dont think it is heavy.

What do u c from the conversation above?

We seem to be carrying a lot in our hand

as well as

carrying a lot of problems and worries in our head

that is why sometimes we seem

to be tired of

carrying those burdens around

even to our bed

So when we learn to put it down

we will feel the comfort

the happiness

the relief

even though the burden

has not disappeared

but

we learnt to live with it

to carry it when we need to

but not all the time

The problem won't be solved easily

if we carry it all the time

but

when we put it down

and look at it carefully

we may see

the better way to handle it ,

or to carry it

to make it more comfortable

and could be lighter with a new way of handling

Wouldnt that be better???

consideration

What set people apart from others

are not just

how much money they have

where they live

how educated they are

but also

how much consideration they have towards others.

This sometimes

can't be taught in school

some  learnt and realised by themselves

A good example would be 

during the crisis in Japan

where people were lining up for the food

and they didnt take them all

when it came to their turns

as they thought that others would need

the food as much as they do.

This scenario would be different

in other countries.

Although 

consideration doesnt always develop the country

it sure does bring peace to the society.

So if each of us just have

some consideration for the others

the place u live or work

would be a nicer place to be in .

Right?

Hearing the Sunshine

There is no place like our hometown!!!!

Excess

I think we all have the excess things in life.

Things that we will never used again

like old clothes or books or accessories

But we do keep it anyway.

Some for the memory

some for nothing

just

too lazy to clear it off .

We may have no idea how much those things could mean

for other people who need those things.

Our old books or clothes

could mean a new world to them!!

So when will we be ready to give up those locked up

and forgotten in our house or habitat?

It will be more of value to them

than to us.

Therefore

why not unload our space

and clear up the place

Also

The messy space could bring about

the messy mind

Then

why dont we do sth about it ???

Learn to give away

and i am sure

u will see some change in u ...

Lesson learnt from the trip

1) Vietnam doesnt develop that much , it is partly due to the indisciplined people.

2) Though people are dishonest because of some poor standard of living

if we just look on the bright side of good experience

we will have more fun

enjoying the new perspective of life.

3) It's good to get out of our ordinary life to see the world

broaden ur mind and thought.

4) Every place has beauty of it , it is just u have to find it

including ur own home.
