Time to build a new team,

and the fans are looking forward to big name signings

and at the moments,

there seemed to be three new signings including

Midfielders are still weak and in need of reinforcement.

Let's see a real big signing before the window closes tonight.

The good news is that

there would be no worse than that day at old Trafford.

the points that they are not good enough

has been proved and spotted on.

we need to realise that

Tulipmania vs gold craze???

Do you see any pattern between the two graphs?

The time difference is 3 centuries!!!

But humans are still behaving very similarly.

We are still chasing the same things that everyone wants.

In the 17th century , it was tulip.

Now, you guess it , gold.

I am not suggesting that it will end in the same way,

as gold will never be worthless,

 I hope.

But looking at the gold chart over the years,

in the 1980s, this happened once

and look at how it fell

later on.

People at this era may not live and invest during that time

or may have forgotten about what happened.

This is just a reminder not a warning.

As it is anyone's guess, how high the gold price will reach

due to the financial crises in Europe and America.

No matter what your position is,

just be careful,

that is all I want to say.

the movie about a workaholic

who survived the plane crash

and was left alone on a deserted island.

The only friend he had

was a volleyball named Wilson.

The movie does show us 

that

anything can happen 

if we decide to survive

and not give up on fighting.

The surrounding 

gives us a new knowledge

all the time

if we choose to learn it

and we will be surprised

how we can master it 

if we keep on learning and practising the skill.

Like in the movie,

after a few years,

he seemed to have learnt

everything on the island

and even

the wind direction blowing to the island.

He could choose to give up

and died on the island

but

he wanted to get back

to see his wife.

The strong determination

brings about success

though

failures are abound along the way,

the main point is

not to give up trying

no matter what.

And one day

hopefully

we do succeed.

Anyway,

this is a good movie to

inspire you all.

The first time I heard the phrase

was from the movie

Cast Away

a great movie , which I would do a review later.

It seemed to be a very catchy phrase at the time.

Like everything else,

as the time flies,

we seem to overlook and forget it.

Then,

I got the book

Don't sweat the small stuff

and it's all small stuff.

Even a better phrase which elaborates on the issue very well.

One part from the book

mentioning that

next time we feel upset about things or people

let them be our teachers

let those crazy drivers teach us about being reckless

and remind us not to do like them.

Or those unorganised people show us

how we should do better

if someone is late for a date or appointment

just relaxed

and learn from the incidence,

that way ,

we will not only avoid the unnecessary argument

but also

it will bring about the better atmosphere

for the upcoming events.

From all these perspectives,

we will no longer feel upset

and become better understanding with issue at hands.

We will learn to strive for better self

and at least calmer.

As we will then realise that

they are not assholes , but our valuable teachers

in the lesson we call

Life lesson.

The goal of the game is simple

to move the birds in a row as long as you can.

But to achieve the high score may not be that simple.

The game does teach you one thing though,

patience.

If you keep playing the game continuously

not only that you won't get that high score,

you will end up with

neckache and teary eyes.

It is the same with life actually.

If you keep pushing yourself to the limit

with no rest,

you will only feel painful and disappointed.

But if you give it a break and resume it later

with the fresh mind and thought

you will be able to get higher in life and in the game.

Also,

sometimes the only one you are competing against

is no one but yourself

so don't be too hard on yourself

if you haven't got there as soon as you may have wanted.

Everything takes time,

just be patient

and when you are good enough

you will be right there

at the top.



Satisfaction , needs , wants



When we get something we want ,

we often feel satisfied.

We even feel excited with what we are getting

but it often depends on the value of the thing we are getting.

No matter what we get ,

a luxurious place , a fancy car , a beautiful doll

it only lasts for a short period.

Once we get used to it ,

we will feel no longer excited about it

or sometimes even appreciate it less.

Luxury house becomes no different from normal

and much cheaper house.

A porsche becomes a Toyota Vios.

A Blythe becomes another teddy bear.

That happens because we have unlimited wants

and always want a better thing than we already have.

That is why

people say that

we will feel rich when we feel satisfied with what we have

not from the value of things we have.

We will be rich from the inside out.

If we position ourselves well,

we will know which field of specialty we want to develop

and also

how we can go about it?

Be it

a good speaker

writer

doctor

engineer

salesperson

businessman

investor

teacher

etc.

If we position ourselves , we will know what skill we want to develop

to achieve the goal.

It is like having a destination on the map

in our career path.

Life is not staying stilll,

it keeps changing all the time.

Unexpected events can happen at any places , any time.

So sometimes stormy whether can blow us off our path

and even make us forget where we were heading.

But if we have made a clear position of ourselves

we will realise who we are and where we are going

and that way

we might get to our destination faster amidst the storm.



Whatever happens...

Whatever has happened

it is always good.

Some have said.

No matter how bad it was

and how painful we were suffering,

one day

we will realise that

it happened for a reason

and because of that incidence

it made us  become who we are today.

All the bad experiences have taught us 

to be tougher , stronger and wiser at the end of the lesson.

Though it was hard to pass at the time.

if we survived it ,

it would make us stronger.

So whatever happened,

it is good , if not today ,

 in the future

we will appreciate this experience.

Some may think that 

learning by listening without writing it down 

will be placed in the long-term memory.

They are so wrong.

That is why the need of writing it down in the notebook is important

not only to be an evidence of something we learn 

so that our parents can check what we have learnt

or something we can look back for the revision in the future

but rather 

a jog of memory when we write something down.

We actually put the ideas through our head again 

after we listen to it.

So the idea becomes more rigid in our mind.

Also,

when we practise the various exercises

we actually use our application skill 

and become more specialised

after each exercise.

So next time when we learn something,

a notebook and a pencil are always essential

in the process of learning.

Those who are afraid of hard work

Life will keep giving us the same problem

until we get it right.

Sometimes,

we have to repeat doing the same old type of problems

until we specialise in this type of problem.

But if we just do it just to get it over with,

we will have to end up doing again in the future.

One person once told me that
