Half full or half empty???

Time and time again

that we heard about

A glass half filled with water

and the question then tags along

whether it is half fulll or half empty

To see if u r an optimist or pessimist

With that small example,

it doesn't really show that u r the optimistic one or not.

It actually lies with  our everyday life

whether 

v r happy with our life???

or r u craving for what u dont have

and seem to forget of what u have in life

Instead of looking at the empty part

why don't we look at

what we have

and what we can optimise from what we have

We may not have a job

but at the same time

we have plenty of time

to enjoy ourselves

and gap to pursue our interest and

most importantly

follow ur dream

Try to think out of the box

and u will find the good

amongst the storm

There is always good in bad

if u look carefully

in life.

And u will find

how lucky u r 

to be in such a situation.

But still they still achieve better than us

Is it luck or what??

The answer could lie in one word

"Determination"

No matter where u start

No matter how unskilled u were 

U can achieve whatever u want in life

as long as u r so determined to get what u want

and dedicate ur time and power

and give it ur fullest potential

I am sure that the result won't be

far from what u expect

But how often do we give something we want a 100%?

The answer could be not very often

or could be never.

So whenever u give sth a 100%

Things cannot go so wrong .

Next time

u find sth that u really want

just try to give it very close to 100%

and u will find the amazing result

Live life to the fullest

as u only have one life

The success is there

for those who want it the most

Otherwise

Everyone would be successful

if it is that easy.

Right?

Happiness

I once asked many people around

what their happiness is

And the answer is various

but there is no right answer for everyone

I think

we all have different view of happiness

and that doesn't matter

if urs is different from others

as long as u have enjoyed one.

Sometimes

we haven't thought much about what makes us happy

as long as v r not suffering.

But today

I came to a realisation

of what can be classified as happiness.

It is

a small thing

like lying on a sofa

watching a good movie

with cool breeze

on a lazy Sunday afternoon,

that is enough for me to make my day

Sometimes

happiness can be so small thing

that can happen at anywhere

any time

with anyone.

I have found my latest happiness

As promised  ,

here is kung Fu panda 2

Another story with the same characters

with the developing story.

Our main character has fulfilled his dream

and become a dragon warrior

and on the mission to save China

at the same time

searching for who he really is

and where he comes from.

Then

he learnt that

it doesnt matter who he was and where he came from

but

what he chooses to become

in the future

that is what matter

forget the bitter past

let it go

and move on

if u keep looking backward

u can never really go forward

Let's recap of what was happening on Kung Fu Panda 1

There was something I must really like from part 1

so that I am so looking forward to seeing this part 2

Two things that I have learnt and still remembered

until today are the two quotes

"Yesterday is a History ,

Tomorrow is a mysterday ,

Today is a gift

That is why it is called the present."

So we shouldn't spend too long

thinking about the past

or too much time

on worrying about what will happen in the unknown future

but to cherish the moment

that u r living right now

and ur life will be much happier.

Also ,

"The secret is "nothing". "

The answer to everything

is that there is no secret.

what u can do is already in u

as long as u believe in urself

u can achieve in anything

Just turn what u really like doing

and build from there

and u will be not far from ur dream

So instead of going places to search for what u r looking for

try to search inside

and maybe

it is in u all along.

Y test?

Why do we have to take test every once in a while?

School gives us tests and exams

for each subject that we study

Why?

Wouldn't it be better if they just teach us and let us pass to

another level???

Why developing the tests to torture the students' lives???

There must be some reasons behind it

but what is it ??

How else would teachers or other people

know that u r capable of achieving

the harder task in the future

if u can't fulfil the easy task

during high school or university year

Yes

The grade doesnt exactly tell us how good or bad we are

in doing things

or capability to lead a successful life

But it sure brings out the best of  u

 who are willing to accept the mission

and we will know that we are better than v thought v were

Each exam v passed ,

each mission v accomplish

can boost our confidence

to take on a harder challenge in life

That is why

no matter how bad we hate exams

we have to live with it

and try our best to pass it

as if u don't

Life will repeatedly give us the same test

over and over again .

Fortune telling

How often that we put our fate into other strangers?

How many times that we let people who we barely know

tell us

what to do

 what decision we should take in life

or who we should date or marry

Why do we let them but not ourselves to decide?

We never know

if the fortune teller just makes a pure guess

or just gives a simple advice

but sometimes we just believe what they say

they say that we will experience bad times

and we decide to do absolutely nothing

Sometimes

we even give up a fight before giving it a shot

Also

we let them make us wait for the right time

to do things that we sometimes have no reason to wait

Why , why why???

Why don't we put our destiny into our hand

and make those advice

just one factor to be cautious about life

but not too afraid to do anything at all

If a fortune teller comes and tells u that

u shouldnt learn to ride a bike

as u will fall

he or she is certainly right

but u will never learn to ride a bike

and will not be able to do so

right???

So

would u ride a bike ?

knowing that u will fall?

And the last question

Can u ride a bike now

if u were too afraid to fall back then???

A walk to remember ( Turning point)

I just watched " A Walk to Remember"

again today

It is a classic novel , a romantic story

about a guy who got detention over a misbehaviour

and had to do some volunteering work

which made him get acquainted with a nice quiet girl

whom he and his gangs used to tease .

By getting to know the girl

he started to change .

The rest u may have to go and watch it

but I brought it up

to talk about the turning point

in his life. 

If he hadn't done bad things

he wouldn't have got to know her

and had a good time

and changed both of their lives forever.

So in each of our life

there are a lot of turning points

often

they come after the bad events

the broken heart , the loss of something or both

but after u learnt something from it

then ur life will only get better

and better

so don't be too hard on urself

after every bad time

as it could be a vital turning point in ur life

u never know

Let's play game today.

Once upon a time ,

Mike and Lily are lovers in village A. 

but as work duty

Mike has to go away on the job in village B across the river

Months have passed ,

and  Lily still hasn't heard from Mike

She got concerned in the stormy season

and

decided to go to look for him in city B.

Unfortunately ,

the bridge across the river got blown away by the storm

and the only way to cross the city is by boat.

And in the strong current in the river in this season ,

no one wanted to take risk,

but William may take her across the river

if she pays him 500 dollars , which she doesnt have , for the trip

Sam , a millionaire , also heard the deal

and  offered to pay for her trip

if she slept with him for just one night

After thinking it over

Lily decided to go for the deal

and went for a search for her loved one

They made it across the river

and she did find Mike.

They lived in village B happily until

Mike's friend , Frank , came to village B

some time after the storm is over

Frank told Mike after a few glass of beer

that Lily slept with Sam to get the money to see Mike.

Then Mike got frustrated and broke up with Lily.

A story about a relationship between Tom and Summer.

It lasts 500 days.

The movie portrays it forth and back

between the first day and day 500

Comparing both good times and bad times in a relationship.

Nothing is perfect in life

We all have good and bad days.

Relationship is always rosy from the start

and turn into the sea

with calmness and waves all the  time.

When it is over , then it is over.

We just have to move on,

those who are struck with past

will have no future.

Fortunately, as one door is close ,

the other will be open.

Not only relationship

but also other aspects of life as well

We just have to learn from the bad days

to cherish the good days in the future.

Life will provide the way

just be patient until that path is hinted.

Work

Why do we work???

If we work for money ,

it would be likely that

we wouldn't be able to stay long at the job

as one day there will be a better job

that is more challenging

and more to ur preference

But

If u have fun at work , 

u will not have to work for another day.

Do what u like first

and the money will come in later. 



Numbers

Our life has always been linked with number

the grade from our education system

the money we have in our account

or the salary we earn

the weight

the height

the age

those all bother us sometimes

But why do we have to be concerned

about all numbers that society make up for us?

Why should we be worried

that we already a year older

or a kilo heavier than last week

As long as u feel healthy

and happy about urself

why should u care???

Just do what u have to do and feel happy about what u do

then

it should be good enough

to live a happy life

why let all those numbers ruin ur happiness?

Sometimes

number doesnt tell u the exact value of who u reallly are

the ones with the better grade dont mean that they are better than u

the ones with more income dont mean that they are happier with life

the ones with less number on the scale dont mean that they look better than u

so just be urself

that should be good enough

as long as u dont lie to urself

Into the future

What do you see yourself in five years' time?

What if someone asks u this question

How would u answer it ?

It's good to have  a compass or a map

or some goals in life

The five years' plan

give u some ideas about ur future

of what u r doing today

Future lies in the action u do today

the path u take

will decide

the outcome of the future

if we want to head to the sea

we may have to go to the south

but not the north.

The sad part is that

we don't normally think about it seriously

or ,worse ,don't think about it at all

Some may say that

they'd rather live for today

and live as happily as they can

but

if there is no goal

it could mean

that they will never get to where they want to go

If you don't stand for anything

you will fall for anything

If you have no idea of where to go in the future

u could end up lost and

going nowhere in life

What a waste , right??

So no matter what do u have to do

what test u have to pass

what subject u have to study

no matter how hard it is

ur belief is the most important

if u think u can do it

how impossible it is to understand

u will conquer the task

Attitude counts

Everything is of course

difficult at the start

But once u get used to it

it will be easier

and u can sometimes even do it without

even thinking about it

but u just have to get through the first stage

before heading to the top

If u give up the climb
