I have just read another fiction book
The Alchemist
Though the story is not that much about the alchemist
who can turn lead into gold!!
It is rather about the story of a boy
who dreamt of finding a good deal of treasure near the pyramid
and decided to go out of his usual daily life to find it.
The story of course has a happy ending
as he after many obstacles gets what he is searching for.
But the story is just like other stories
the end is not that much as important as the plot
the journey of his quest to finding the treasure.
Life is also like that
our ultimate goal is not as important as how we get there.
The Olympic gold medaler will not just remember
the second he reaches the finish line
but also all the hard work he has done
all the obstacles he has overcome
in order to get to his ultimate goal.
In the end,
the book does teach us to get out
and live the life we want
and tries our best to achieve what we want in life.
It doesn't matter how much we fall
or how much we lose along the way
as in the end
after all the hard work and persistence
we will see the goal we seek.
If we keep walking ,
even though we are not getting that far
we will not end up where we started.
